The desert's snowbird sweet spot

Winter in the Coachella Valley means mild days, cool nights, and the lowest chance of extreme weather all year. Here’s what to expect month to month.

November

Warm

Fall’s last summery days give way to comfortable, clear afternoons — the shoulder season locals love.

December

~69°F

Average daytime high near the upper 60s; cool nights in the 40s. Pack a light jacket for mornings.

January

Mild

Blue-sky winter days — prime time for the putting course, lake walks, and midday trails.

February

Mild

Wettest month of the year, but that still means just a few light-rain days on average.

March

70s–80s

Warming into spring — comfortable days with breezier afternoons as event season ramps up.

April

80s–90s

Festival month in the valley. A great bookend to a winter stay if you want to catch Coachella or Stagecoach.

What to know before you book a season

Extended stays are available for up to six months, so you can settle in for as much of the snowbird season as you’d like. A few things to plan around:

1
Up to 6 months, with electric billed separately
Full hookups are included; electric usage is metered and billed on top of your site rate.
2
RVs 10 years or newer
Older rigs may still qualify with management pre-approval via photos — just reach out before booking.
3
Rig must remain fully moveable
Your RV needs to be road-ready for the length of your stay.
4
Availability varies by season
Snowbird season (Nov–Mar) is our highest-demand window — the earlier you lock in a site, the more site choice you’ll have.

Sunset pool nights

Two pools and three hot tubs, open year-round

Pickup pickleball

Courts open daily, tournaments through the season

Morning putting rounds

18 holes, right on property

A community of regulars

Neighbors who come back season after season
